Assistant Restaurant F&B Manager – Multi Locations
Reports to: Director of Brewery Hospitality
The Grizzly Paw Brewing Company is a premier hospitality brand located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. We are a Craft Beer, Soda and Ready to Drink beverage company supported by a Pub, Tap Room and Tank 310 Restaurant. We focus on Fresh food, Fresh beer and Fresh soda combined with engaging service by all our colleagues.

Summary of Position:
The Grizzly Paw Brewing Company is looking for an energetic, permanent full-time Assistant Manager for our Food and Beverage Outlets. This is a position for a motivated individual able to multitask, work unsupervised while leading the team, and operating the restaurants. The position will work at both our locations and in every F&B outlet: TANK310, The Pub, Tap Room, GPBBQ
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Lead and manage the Front of the House team in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed
- Plan and execute group functions and other food and beverage operations in and around the brewery.
- Assist in leadership of all food and beverage outlets in both locations as required.
- Handle guest feedback and react quickly and professionally in person and online.
- To assist in the recruitment and training of Front of the House Colleagues
- Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs
- Participate in regularly scheduled departmental meetings
- Maximize revenues by communicating regularly with the Food and Beverage teams to implement agreed upon strategies, practices and promotions
- Have full knowledge of menus and features
- Follow policies, procedures and service standards
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
- Ready and willing to work in a service role which may include direct contact with the public and or vendor representatives.
- Follow all required Health, Safety, Prevention & Sanitation procedures at all times
- Provide support and training to colleagues as required
- Maintain proper audit track records, follow company policies & procedures
- Develop and maintain close and effective working relationship with all supporting departments
- Consider the environmental impact of all decisions
- Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Position requires walking/standing for extended periods of time
- Position may require heavy lifting up to 160 lbs (kegs, furniture, etc.)
- Strong hospitality experience in a fast paced environment
- Must possess a current Proserve status
- Entry level Cicerone certification an asset.
- Passion for Craft beer and hospitality industry
- Previous Restaurant leadership experience required
- Experience in Banquet and Event Planning is an asset
- Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
- University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced team environment
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
