Supply Chain Manager

The Supply Chain Manager leads the team responsible for delivering consistent order fulfillment and an exceptional customer experience. This role plays a critical part in coordinating between Sales, Manufacturing, and Logistics to ensure alignment of demand plans, inventory targets, and operational capabilities. The successful candidate will combine strong analytical skills with hands-on coordination and customer relationship management to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Immediate Hire What's in it for you: - Extended health care benefits after three months - Dental care benefits after three months - Life insurance benefits after three months - Salary range: $58,000 - $85,000 Key Responsibilities: - Build strong customer relationships by understanding each customer's unique ordering patterns, timelines, and service expectations. - Manage customer orders proactively, ensuring high service levels and addressing issues or delays through clear communication. - Analyze historical sales trends and customer forecasts to identify demand patterns, investigate variances, and adjust replenishment plans. - Collaborate with Sales, Production, and Logistics to align inventory availability with customer demand and delivery commitments. - Coordinate logistics by understanding regional and seasonal shipping timelines across Canada to ensure timely fulfillment. - Communicate directly with customers when production constraints arise, including negotiating order changes to avoid penalties. - Monitor inventory performance across a large SKU portfolio, ensuring accuracy, attention to detail, and effective use of customer ordering portals. - Utilize Excel and reporting tools to perform forecasting, data analysis, and trend tracking, while following up proactively (calls or in-person) to resolve operational issues. Qualifications: - Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, demand planning, or customer order management (manufacturing or CPG experience preferred). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret trends and large datasets. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for forecasting, analysis, and trending. - Strong customer service mindset with proven relationship-building skills. - Solid understanding of logistics and distribution within Canada is an asset. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and hands-on approach in a fast-paced environment. - High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
