Stability. Structure. Growth with Impact.

ODRA is a growing North American manufacturer with operations across Canada and the United States. As demand for our equipment continues to rise, we're entering a new phase of growth-expanding our footprint while continuing to build the internal systems and structure needed to support it.

We manufacture high-quality street sweeping equipment for municipalities, contractors, and industrial operations, backed by a strong reputation for reliability and long-term performance.

Our growth is steady, but it's also evolving. As the business scales, our operations are becoming more complex-including multi-entity and cross-border activity-creating meaningful opportunities to strengthen processes, improve visibility, and build a more mature financial foundation.

ODRA offers a practical, team-focused environment where people take ownership, adapt to change, and play a hands-on role in shaping how the business operates as it continues to grow.

About the Role

This role supports accounting operations across both Canadian and U.S. entities in a growing, increasingly complex environment. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting compliance, and ensuring leadership has clear, reliable financial information to guide decision-making.

As the business continues to scale, this role will also contribute to strengthening processes, improving reporting, and bringing greater structure to a multi-entity, cross-border operation.

You'll be part of a collaborative accounting team and will have the opportunity to learn from an experienced Corporate Controller, gaining exposure to both Canadian and U.S. accounting practices.

This position is well-suited for someone who is detail-oriented and organized, but who also thrives in a changing environment-someone who takes ownership, adapts quickly, and is motivated to build and improve alongside a growing company.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Maintain accurate general ledger records, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
  • Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support internal and external audit processes by preparing required schedules and documentation
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor payments, invoicing, and collections
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions
  • Monitor outstanding balances and support collections as needed
  • Assist with sales tax filings (GST/HST, PST, and U.S. state and local taxes)
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards
  • Maintain strong internal controls and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Support the development of more efficient accounting processes and systems

What You Bring

  • Post-secondary education in Accounting or a related field
  • 5+ years of accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems (QuickBooks required)
  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, reconciliations)
  • Experience in accounts payable and receivable
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Experience in manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with multi-currency accounting and foreign exchange impacts

What You'll Get at ODRA

  • Competitive base salary
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • Paid time off
  • A stable, team-focused environment with strong leadership and support
  • The opportunity to work across both Canadian and U.S. operations, gaining valuable cross-border experience
  • Ongoing development and mentorship within an experienced accounting team
  • Real opportunity to grow and take on increased responsibility as the company continues to expand

If you're looking for an opportunity to grow with a company that's scaling, contribute to building stronger financial processes, and be part of a team that values ownership and continuous improvement-ODRA is ready for you.
