Commission-Only Insurance Broker (Remote) – My Hunter Inc., Mississauga, ON

Key Responsibilities

As an Insurance Broker, you will:

  • Generate new business through networking, referrals, prospecting, and outbound sales initiatives

  • Assess client risks and recommend coverage solutions tailored to individual and business needs

  • Stay up to date on insurance products, underwriting guidelines, market changes, and regulatory updates

  • Prepare accurate quotes and bind coverage upon client approval

  • Manage applications, renewals, endorsements, and documentation within the broker management system

  • Maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional service and ongoing support

  • Complete required training and RIBO continuing education

  • Uphold RIBO standards for compliance, confidentiality, and ethical practices

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Minimum 1 year of insurance sales experience

  • Experience with Personal Lines and/or Commercial Lines

  • Valid RIBO License

  • Strong working knowledge of Applied Rating Services, PowerBroker, and insurer portals

  • Basic Microsoft Office skills

  • A positive, goal‑oriented mindset and strong client‑service orientation

  • The drive and discipline needed to build and grow your own book of business

Compensation & Benefits

This is a commission-only role designed to reward top performers with uncapped earning potential.

Estimated Commission Earnings

  • Year 1: $60,000–$80,000

  • Year 2: $70,000–$100,000

  • Year 3: $120,000+
