About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Maintenance Planner, who can perform the below requirements:

Develop and maintain weekly/monthly maintenance schedules

Review maintenance work orders and prioritize work based on food safety, safety, efficiency, short and long-term project work.

Source and purchase maintenance parts, supplies, tools and services

Maintain equipment and spare parts data within the CMMS (Fiix).

Track PM compliance and generate maintenance reports and KPI's

Support reliability-centered maintenance initiatives.

Coordinate maintenance schedules with Operations to minimize production disruption.

Identify critical spare parts and ensure availability.

Ensure maintenance office and parts area are organized

Oversee and enforce good record-keeping practices

Must be part of team, a hands on' approach with equipment

Ensure a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations of company and SQF standards

Requirements

35 years of experience in maintenance planning, purchasing, or MRO inventory management.

Experience in a manufacturing environment with CMMS systems preferred.

Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, Science or related areas of focus

Strong mechanical and electrical aptitudes

Microsoft Office knowledge required

Experience with AutoCAD preferred

Exceptional organizational, communication, time-management and problem-solving skills

Works well under pressure

Must be passionate about quality and food safety

Have knowledge of health and safety standards, SQF, HACCP & GMP

Forklift license, and experience is considered an asset

Flexibility with work hours and the ability to work overtime and weekends, as needed
