Hardscape Foreman - Landscape Construction M. Davis Landscape & Design Inc. is seeking a full-time Hardscape Foreman with residential and commercial experience. Join one of the largest landscape companies in Ottawa and Eastern Ontario and grow your career in a supportive, fast-paced environment. ------------------------------- Requirements * Minimum 3 years' experience in a supervisory role * Strong knowledge of hard landscaping * Proven ability to manage projects from planning to completion * Experience operating skid steer, excavator, backhoe, and loader * Ability to read civil, architectural, and landscape drawings * Valid Class G license with driver's abstract and reliable transportation * Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills * Landscape diploma/certificate considered an asset ------------------------------- Responsibilities * Supervise, train, and lead a crew of 3+ staff and operators * Coordinate all aspects of job sites, including materials, equipment, and subcontractors * Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to Canadian Landscape Standards * Maintain daily electronic logs, time sheets, and project records * Perform and oversee landscape construction and maintenance tasks as needed * Operate equipment safely and conduct pre-use inspections * Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies and procedures ------------------------------- Additional Information * Full-time position * Competitive wages ($27-$32 per hour, based on experience) * References required
