We are looking for a Director, Financial Planning, Pricing & Analytics to be the analytical engine behind how we plan, price, and grow. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will own the connective tissue between strategy and execution — translating market signals, customer behaviour, and operational data into the decisions that shape our P&L.

You will be accountable for key financial outcomes including revenue growth, gross margin expansion, pricing realization, and forecast accuracy. Success in this role will be measured by the quality of planning, effectiveness of pricing decisions, and the team's ability to translate insight into sustained P&L improvement.

This is a high-visibility role with a seat at the table. You'll partner with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations to build the financial and analytical playbook that powers our next chapter of growth. If you want to do the most consequential pricing and planning work of your career — for a company Canadians have trusted for generations — we want to talk to you.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & Forecasting
  • Lead the annual operating plan, long-range plan, and rolling forecast processes across all business units, channels, and product lines.
  • Build and maintain integrated financial and operational models that connect volume, mix, price, and cost to enterprise outcomes.
  • Partner with the CFO and executive team to pressure-test strategic initiatives, capital investments, and M&A opportunities with rigorous business cases.
  • Own monthly performance reviews — explain variances clearly, surface risks early, and drive course-corrections with the operating teams.
Pricing Strategy & Execution
  • Design and govern pricing strategy across retail, dealers, and commercial channels — balancing competitiveness, brand value, and margin discipline.
  • You will hold defined decision rights over pricing frameworks, analytics methodologies, and recommended price actions, partnering with Sales and the executive team to align on final approval thresholds.
  • Build the analytics foundation for price elasticity, segmentation, promotional ROI, and customer lifetime value.
  • Lead the annual pricing cycle and tactical price actions in response to raw material, FX, and competitive movements.
  • Establish pricing governance — guardrails, approval workflows, and exception management — so we move fast without leaving margin on the table.
Analytics & Insight
  • Build a best-in-class analytics function that turns transactional, customer, and market data into commercial insight.
  • Deliver self-serve dashboards and decision tools that make the right answer the easy answer for sales reps, category managers, and plant leaders.
  • Partner with IT and Data Engineering to mature our data infrastructure, governance, and reporting stack.
  • Champion a culture of evidence-based decision-making across the commercial organization.
Leadership & Team
  • This role leads a team of professionals spanning FP&A, Pricing, and Commercial/Retail analytics, with responsibility for setting priorities, developing talent, and scaling capabilities as the business grows.
  • Lead, coach, and grow a team of Managers and Analysts across planning, pricing, and analytics.
  • Set the bar for talent — hire excellent people, develop them, and build a bench for the future.
  • Be a trusted advisor to the CFO, CEO, and broader leadership team — willing to challenge respectfully and back recommendations with data.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, commercial finance, pricing, or strategy — ideally in manufacturing, consumer goods, building products, or industrial distribution.
  • Demonstrated ownership of pricing strategy and execution at scale, with measurable margin and revenue impact.
  • Deep fluency with financial modelling, scenario analysis, and the systems behind enterprise planning (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Anaplan, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong analytical toolkit — comfortable across SQL, advanced Excel, and modern BI; familiarity with Python or R is a plus.
  • A track record of building and leading high-performing teams, with the EQ to influence senior stakeholders across functions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business, or a quantitative field; MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent is an asset.

Salary range is $175k-$200k plus bonus.

Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada without employment-based visa sponsorship (now or in the future). This includes WP, LMIA, TFWP, IMP, PGWP, CUSMA, GTS, OWP, BOWP, SOWP or any other employment-based visas).
