Country Hills Kia – Opening Soon in Northeast Calgary
Country Hills Kia is excited to be opening the doors to a brand-new dealership in Northeast Calgary, and we are looking for a Payroll & Accounting Administrator to join our team from the ground up.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new dealership launch, help build processes, and grow your career within a modern, fast-paced automotive environment. Given the nature of this role, select candidates will be required to complete a brief video submission as the first stage of our hiring process.
What We're Looking For - Payroll Experience Preferred, But Not Required
We are seeking someone who has dealership accounting experience and is eager to continue developing their skills. This role offers a blend of payroll and dealership accounting responsibilities, providing valuable cross-functional experience across several areas of the business.
We welcome applications from:
- Candidates with existing payroll experience, or
- Accounting professionals who have a strong interest in payroll and are looking to develop their expertise
We are willing to train the right individual who demonstrates initiative, a strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to learn.
Key responsibilities include:
Payroll
- Processing bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll accurately and on time
- Maintaining employee payroll records and documentation
- Administering payroll changes, deductions, benefits, and remittances
- Assisting with year-end payroll reporting and compliance requirements
- Responding to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management
Accounting
- Accounts Payable processing and vendor statement reconciliations
- Accounts Receivable administration and customer account maintenance
- Posting invoices and journal entries
- Reconciling accounts and assisting with month-end procedures
- Supporting various accounting and administrative functions as required
Requirements :
- Previous automotive dealership accounting experience preferred
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience within a dealership environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism
- Positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively within a growing team
