Full Time Bilingual French Financial Underwriter

Hybrid role in Toronto!

Join our client on a temporary basis to cover for their busy period. Great work environment! Hybrid schedule! Immediate Vacancy Starting June 15th.

Compensation: $25 to $29/hour

Schedule:

5-day work schedule with schedule provided 1 month in advance
Monday to Friday: 8:00 am to 9:00 pm (8-hour schedule)
Saturday: 10:00 am to 7:00 pm

Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 2 days work from home, 3 days in the office (downtown Toronto)

Key Responsibilities:

Review applications to ensure applicants meet the credit requirements
Read credit reports
Run a risk assessment
Analyze credit bureau applications and evaluate risk
Confirm ownership information
Provide terms on approvals based on risk assessment
Ensure documentation is properly entered, received, and updated
Ensure accurate information is entered on high-dollar deals and other clerical aspects pertaining to the position

Experience Required:

2 years of bilingual underwriting experience (preferably in renovations or vehicle underwriting)
Financial industry experience is preferred
Post-secondary education preferred (college or university) in business, finance, or administration

A criminal record check and credit background check will be required for the successful candidate.
