Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender/Cook to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and providing excellent customer experiences in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
- Process orders efficiently using the POS system ensuring accurate cash handling and cashiering.
- Engage with customers to provide exceptional service, taking orders and offering recommendations based on their preferences.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Be able to prep and cook menu items during slower periods.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality while maintaining a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in using POS systems.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Smart Serve and Food Handler certification
