Key Responsibilities
Assemble, fit, and align mechanical components and equipment according to specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment
Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment
Support machine setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting as required
Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
Report defects, equipment issues, or safety concerns to supervisors
Work collaboratively with maintenance and production teams
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Follow all safety procedures and company standards
Requirements
2 years of fitter or mechanical assembly experience required
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials as required
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Forklift certification is an asset
