Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer
Location: Vancouver, BC
Note: Prior experience in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom is non-negotiable.

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong background in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments. The ideal candidate will lead DevOps initiatives and support enterprise modernization programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead DevOps initiatives supporting enterprise transformation programs.
• Support modernization initiatives for core banking, payments, citizen services, OSS/BSS platforms, billing systems, charging platforms, and telecom customer platforms.
• Design and maintain enterprise CI/CD platforms.
• Lead cloud automation and Infrastructure as Code implementations.
• Support telecom infrastructure, network operations, 5G services, and enterprise digital platforms.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams supporting banking, government, and telecom operations.
• Implement security, governance, compliance, and operational controls.
• Mentor engineers and promote DevOps best practices.
• Drive monitoring, observability, and reliability improvements.
• Support continuous delivery and operational excellence initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer within BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments.
• Experience leading DevOps transformation initiatives.
• Experience supporting banking systems, government platforms, OSS/BSS, billing, charging, or telecom environments.
• Strong expertise in CI/CD, automation, and cloud platforms.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong understanding of governance, compliance, and security controls.
• Experience with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native technologies.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and DevOps tooling.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Cloud or DevOps certification preferred.
