Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Vancouver, BC
Note: Prior experience in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom is non-negotiable.

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer with a strong background in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership and support large-scale infrastructure modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure engineering initiatives across BFSI, Public Sector, and Telecom environments.
• Support modernization programs involving core banking systems, citizen services platforms, OSS/BSS systems, and telecom infrastructure.
• Design and maintain enterprise infrastructure services and shared capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Support telecom network services, 5G platforms, and enterprise digital environments.
• Collaborate with cloud, platform, security, and architecture teams.
• Implement automation, monitoring, and infrastructure governance controls.
• Ensure compliance with governance, privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive infrastructure reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
• Promote engineering best practices and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer within BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments.
• Experience supporting banking systems, government applications, OSS/BSS, billing, charging, or telecom infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies.
• Experience leading modernization and transformation initiatives.
• Experience with automation, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud technologies.
• Understanding of governance, compliance, privacy, and security requirements.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical capabilities.
• Infrastructure or Cloud certifications preferred.
