Job Title: Agile Product Owner
Location: Edmonton, AB
Note: Prior experience in BFSI, Public Sector, or Healthcare is non-negotiable.

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Agile Product Owner with a strong background in BFSI, Public Sector, or Healthcare environments. The ideal candidate will work closely with Agile teams to deliver high-value products and business solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize Agile product backlogs.
• Work closely with stakeholders to define and refine product requirements.
• Support digital transformation and modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to deliver customer, citizen, or patient-focused solutions.
• Translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide ongoing product direction.
• Ensure delivery aligns with governance, compliance, and organizational requirements.
• Support enterprise application and platform enhancement initiatives.
• Monitor product performance and user feedback.
• Drive continuous improvement and value delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Experience as an Agile Product Owner within BFSI, Public Sector, or Healthcare environments.
• Strong experience working within Agile and Scrum delivery frameworks.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications, digital platforms, or modernization initiatives.
• Understanding of compliance, governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong backlog management and prioritization skills.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong communication and facilitation abilities.
• Ability to define and manage user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• CSPO, PSPO, or equivalent certification preferred.
