Pet Chauffeur/dog walker

I need an animal loving driver to chauffeur 1-3 dogs in a company SUV for Winter French Canine Training, from their address to the training studio in the morning and back home in the evening. Must have a G license, like dogs, and be able to manage walking trained dogs of any size.

The basic responsibilities for a day of work are as follows:

3-8 working hours per day 3-5 hour shifts. Company car provided.

1-4 hours driving.

2-4 hours walking dogs.

Will have opportunities to assist in active training and learn canine development and therapy skills by shadowing and assisting.

Typical day.

6:30-8:00am. Arrive to collect vehicle. Pick up chauffeured dogs for the training day from their homes along route and deliver them to the training studio.

8:00am-9:30am. Take the dogs for that day, (up to 2 at a time) for a 1-3km 30 minute morning walk, touching lightly on their particular skill goals as outlined by lead trainer. On busy days this shift can go as late at 11am.

-Sometimes procurement work will also fall to you, where purchase and/or pickup of business equipment will be required.

-Sometimes taking trainers to their scheduled house call sessions with clients all over the city will be done in these windows.

Expected daylight off hours, Roughly 10am-2:00pm.

3:00-4:30pm. Take the dogs for that day for a walk or park play (depending on experience and bond with each animal) to prepare them to return home happy and tired.

4:30-6:00pm. Drop off chauffeured dogs to their home addresses along route to end their training day, return vehicle and end work day.

On busy days, this shift can begin as early as 1:30pm

Advancement: Techniques and methods will be taught by our lead canine psychologist and trainer to ensure a high quality of walking manners for training clients, and opportunities for employees to learn/practice the skills of applied animal psychology, natural leadership, and dog training are all available for those with an interest in advancement.

Potential promotion tracks to follow include junior trainer (hourly + commission) operational manager (full time) and digital media manager (incentive based compensation).
