About the Opportunity

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking experienced Roofing Shinglers to support residential and commercial roofing projects across the St. John's area.

This role is ideal for skilled installers who take pride in quality workmanship and want consistent hours throughout the roofing season. Work is structured around weather conditions to maintain productivity and ensure projects remain on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Install asphalt shingles, underlayment, and flashing on sloped roofs
Ensure proper alignment, sealing, and finishing of roofing systems
Set up and dismantle ladders and fall protection equipment
Maintain a clean and organized job site
Adhere to all safety protocols and best practices
Work efficiently to meet project timelines while maintaining quality standards

The Successful Candidate Will Have

Minimum 3 years of roofing or shingle installation experience
Valid Driver's License
Valid Fall Protection Certification (mandatory)
Strong understanding of roofing systems and installation techniques
Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
Physical capability to lift and carry materials

Additional Information

Consistent hours targeted at 40 hours per week based on weather conditions
Relocation support may be available for qualified candidates
Immediate start available for the upcoming season
