We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Support Worker (PSW)/Caregiver to provide in-home care and support to a client in Lambton Shores.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed.
Support meal preparation and feeding assistance when required.
Perform light housekeeping related to the client's care.
Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical, emotional, or mental well-being.
Ensure client safety and comfort at all times.
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the care team.
Follow the client's care plan and agency policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
PSW Certificate or equivalent caregiving experience.
Previous experience providing home care is an asset.
Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to the client's home.
Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism.
