Align Climate Solutions is a family-run HVAC company serving Squamish, the Sea-to-Sky Corridor, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Whistler, and surrounding communities. We specialize in high-performance, energy-efficient systems including heat pumps, ductless retrofits, furnaces, boilers, air conditioning, ventilation, and smart controls. We're looking for an HVAC Service Technician who wants more than just another service job. You'll diagnose, service, repair, and maintain advanced HVAC systems while working with a team that values transparency, technical growth, and a healthy work-life culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, service, and repair HVAC systems, including heat pumps, VRF/VRV systems, furnaces, boilers, and air conditioning units
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and system performance checks
• Work with high-efficiency heating and cooling systems in residential and light commercial environments
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues accurately and efficiently
• Communicate clearly with clients about repairs, options, maintenance recommendations, and system performance
• Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation
• Ensure all work meets local codes, safety requirements, and company quality standards
• Collaborate with installation teams and project managers on upgrades, retrofits, and system improvements
• Identify opportunities for repairs, upgrades, or efficiency improvements and communicate them professionally
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, parts, inventory, and a clean, professional job site

Qualifications:

• Red Seal HVAC/Refrigeration certification required
• Minimum 5 years of recent HVAC/R service experience
• Experience with heat pumps, mechanical ventilation, furnaces, and high-efficiency systems
• Residential experience required; commercial experience is an asset
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Clear criminal record
• Comfortable working at heights and using ladders
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Positive, ambitious, growth-minded attitude
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Must enjoy working independently while still being part of a team-focused environment

Pay and Benefits:

• CA$90,000 - CA$130,000 per year, depending on experience
• Full-time, permanent position
