Our client is a global industrial materials organization is seeking a Controls and Instrumentation Engineer to support the development and deployment of advanced process control and automation solutions across multiple operations worldwide. This is remote role with up to 50% travel.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain PLC, DCS, HMI/SCADA, and APC systems
  • Support instrumentation calibration, control loop tuning, and process optimization
  • Develop and maintain industrial data historian systems and data frameworks
  • Identify and implement automation, controls, and data analytics improvements
  • Support global standards for control systems, instrumentation, and OT networks
  • Provide technical support to operating facilities, including occasional on-call support
Qualifications
  • Engineering degree with training in industrial controls and instrumentation
  • 6+ years of experience in controls, automation, or process engineering within heavy industry
  • Strong experience with PLCs, APC/MPC, DCS, HMI/SCADA, and industrial data historians
  • Willingness to travel frequently across North America, with occasional international travel
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
