Position OverviewThe Project Manager within the Building Restoration Consulting Team is responsible for overseeing all phases of a project from design to construction and delivery, under the support and guidance of a Project Principal. This role requires a proactive, client-focused mindset and a passion for delivering outstanding engineering services.General Responsibilities

• Knowledge Development: Continuously develop technical expertise and remain current with industry trends and best practices.

Technical Responsibilities

• Manage restoration projects from the initial design phase through to completion.
• Lead proposal development, including defining scope, estimating fees, scheduling, and planning resources.
• Conduct site investigations and evaluations.
• Prepare detailed technical reports with findings, project recommendations, and direction for the construction phase.
• Develop restoration designs, including scopes of work, specifications, and construction drawings.
• Chair client meetings and communicate updates, changes, and key project milestones to contractors and design professionals.
• Manage the tendering process and perform contract administration, including bid preparation, contractor selection, and review of invoices and change orders.
• Represent the company at industry events and networking functions.
• Stay up to date with industry standards, codes, and emerging best practices.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
