Integrated Staffing is currently recruiting a Forklift Operator for a busy metal recycling yard in Saint John, NB. This is an excellent opportunity for dependable individuals with forklift and material handling experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Job Duties

Stack rims on pallets
Sort recyclable materials by hand
Load materials into dry van trailers using a forklift
Assist with placing materials on platform scales
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Follow all site safety procedures and company policies

Rate of Pay

$18.00 per hour
Plus 4% vacation pay

Schedule

Monday to Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Occasional weekend work may be required

Work Environment

Work is performed both indoors and outdoors
Exposure to varying weather conditions throughout the year
Fast-paced recycling yard environment with forklift and equipment traffic

PPE & Dress Code Requirements

CSA-approved steel-toed safety boots (6" or higher)
Reflective safety vest
Hard hat
Safety glasses
Hearing protection
Work gloves
Long pants are required
Shirts must have sleeves (no tank tops)
Clothing must be suitable for industrial yard work and weather conditions

Some PPE can be provided if required.
Requirements

Previous forklift experience is required
Valid forklift certification required
Ability to work safely in an indoor and outdoor industrial environment
Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic
