Construction Operations Manager
Centennial Renovations
Position Summary
The Construction Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the successful execution of renovation projects through operational leadership, field support, quality control, subcontractor coordination, and process improvement.
This role bridges the gap between office planning and field execution while helping Centennial improve consistency, accountability, communication, and scalability.

Core Responsibilities
- Field Operations Support
- Visit active renovation sites regularly
- Support technicians and project coordinators with construction-related issues
- Assist with sequencing and problem solving
- Help maintain organization and professionalism on jobsites
- Ensure projects are progressing efficiently and according to plan
- Support production leadership in identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks
- Quality Control
- Conduct routine quality inspections on active projects
- Identify deficiencies early before project completion
- Ensure workmanship meets Centennial standards
- Support technicians in improving installation quality and consistency
- Help develop and maintain field quality standards and procedures
- Subcontractor Coordination & Development
- Assist with managing subcontractors on renovation projects
- Help coordinate scheduling and readiness for subcontractors
- Build and maintain relationships with reliable subcontractors
- Evaluate subcontractor performance, communication, and workmanship
- Help develop a preferred subcontractor network
- Technician Leadership & Development
- Support, mentor, and coach renovation technicians
- Help technicians develop stronger site leadership skills
- Reinforce accountability, professionalism, and communication expectations
- Assist with onboarding and training of new technicians
- Support the development of future lead technicians and field leaders
- Estimating & Pre-Construction Support
- Assist with reviewing larger renovation estimates
- Support labor planning and construction feasibility reviews
- Help identify construction risks before project start
- Assist with project sequencing and planning discussions
- Collaborate with production and design teams to improve project readiness
- Production & Operational Improvement
- Work closely with:
- Production Captain
- Design Captain
- Project Coordinators
- Purchasing & Warehouse
- Help improve operational systems and project flow
- Assist in identifying recurring operational issues
- Support implementation of standardized renovation processes
- Help improve communication between office and field teams
- Large Project Support
- Support planning and operational oversight on larger renovations and additions
- Participate in site meetings and coordination discussions when required
- Assist with project sequencing and quality management on larger jobs
- Support site leadership in maintaining project standards and organization
