Our Kitchener location has proudly served the Waterloo Region for over 40 years. As we continue growing, includingoperatinga seasonal pop-up clearancecentrebeside our main showroom at 170 Gateway Park Drive through Summer 2026, we are looking for a dependable and energetic team member to support our showroom and warehouse operations.

About the Role

We areseekinga reliable and customer-focused Showroom Associate to support the daily operations of our showroom and warehouse. This is an active, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in organization and presentation, and values providing exceptional customer service.

You will work closely with the Sales team to ensure our showroomremainswelcoming, organized, and visually appealing while supporting customers with pickups, carry-outs, and product-related questions.

Schedule:

  • Part-time (20+hours per week)
  • Weekend availability isrequired
  • Evening availability is considered an asset

Key Responsibilities

  • Assistcustomers with in-store pickups, carry-outs, and product inquiries
  • Move, lift, stage, and place furniture throughout the showroom and warehouse
  • Unload incoming shipments and organize inventory efficiently
  • Assemble, wrap, and prepare furniture for display or customer pickup
  • Maintain showroom appearance through promotional changeovers and merchandising updates
  • Attach and replace pricing tags, promotional signage, and display materials
  • Perform minor furniture repairs, touch-ups, adjustments, and general showroom maintenance confidently and independently
  • Hang artwork and complete light installation or wiring tasks as needed
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and inventory accuracy
  • Support the store team with operational tasks and special projects
  • Work independently and collaboratively to create a positive customer experience

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in similar retail or warehousing environments considered an asset
  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is an asset
  • 1+ years of experience in retail support, merchandising, warehouse, maintenance, or related hands-on roles
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable performing physically active work, includingliftingand moving furniture (up to 75lbs)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills are considered an asset
  • Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
