Field Service Technician – Commercial & Industrial Cleaning Equipment
Office Location: Mississauga
Pay Rate: $36-$40/ hour (depending on experience)
Must Have: G license and a clean drivers abstract.
Are you a licensed technician looking to work with cutting-edge commercial cleaning technology across the GTA? We're looking for a skilled Field Service Technician to join our growing team, supporting customers at their facilities throughout the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding regions.
About the Role
As a Field Service Technician, you'll be the expert on the ground, travelling to customer sites across the GTA to service, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial and industrial floor cleaning equipment. This is a field-based role where no two days look the same. You'll work independently, build strong relationships with customers, and play a key role in keeping their operations running smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Travel to customer sites across the Greater Toronto Area to diagnose and repair commercial and industrial floor cleaning equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing to keep equipment operating at peak performance
- Complete all required service reports, time sheets, and documentation accurately and on time
- Maintain your service van's parts inventory at required stock levels
- Stay current on all required certifications and training
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate holds a 310S OR Electro-mechanical technician though we're also very interested in candidates with a background in robotics, battery systems, or electric-powered equipment. If you've worked on autonomous or battery-electric equipment and want to apply those skills in a new industry, this could be a great fit.
You'll also bring:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar field service or mechanical/electrical trade role
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with AC/DC electrical theory and the ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Experience with internal combustion engines
- Ability to use electrical diagnostic and testing equipment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills — you'll be representing the brand at every site visit
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule across the GTA
- Valid driver's licence and DOT certification (or willingness to obtain)
Training & Development
Don't know the product line yet? No problem. We offer comprehensive, hands-on training so you'll become fully proficient in the equipment you service — including the latest robotic and battery-powered cleaning solutions. We invest in our technicians and set you up for long-term success.
Education
Associate's degree or technical diploma, or equivalent combination of relevant education and hands-on experience.
Why Join Us
This is an opportunity to work with innovative, industry-leading cleaning technology while building lasting customer relationships across the GTA. You'll have the autonomy of a field role with the support of a strong technical team behind you.
