We are hiring for growing company specializing in the manufacturing and distribution of basement window systems. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and safety-conscious Window Bracer to join the production team. If you enjoy hands-on work, have experience with tools and equipment, and take pride in producing quality work, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Build rough wooden window braces according to specifications and instructions.
• Read and interpret measurements and dimensions for window frames.
• Measure, mark, and cut boards and plywood to required sizes.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with maintaining production quality standards and meeting daily targets.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate light machinery, forklifts, and other site equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Strong time-management skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and carry 60+ lbs. on a regular basis.
• Must Have a reliable means of Transportation.
• Previous manufacturing, construction, woodworking, or general labour experience is an asset.
