Class 3 Driver - Stone Slinger Operator

BC Eco Industrial Services is seeking an experienced Class 3 Driver / Stone Slinger Operator to join our operations team in Nelson, BC. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operating a stone slinger truck to deliver and place gravel, sand, and aggregate
• Working closely with site supervisors, contractors, and homeowners
• Performing pretrip, posttrip, and daily equipment inspections
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional job site
• Following WorkSafeBC regulations and company safety policies
• Assisting with general site tasks when required
• Representing The Sutherland Group professionally on all job sites

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

As a member of the BC Eco Industrial Ltd, we expect you bring the following to the table:

• Valid Class 3 Driver's License (required)
• Air Brake Endorsement
• Experience operating commercial vehicles or construction equipment
• Construction site experience is an asset
• Strong communication and situational awareness
• Safetyfocused and reliable work ethic
• Physically capable of working outdoors in varying conditions
