Job Title: EA (Education Assistant) Instructor

Responsibilities

Theory Instruction (In-Person or Online)

  • Deliver lectures aligned with courseobjectivesand program learning outcomes.
  • Prepare lesson plans, presentations, and materials that engage diverse learners.
  • Explain course outlines, expectations, and assessment criteria at the start of each course.
  • Provide regular feedback on student progress and support student learning needs.
  • Assess assignments and exams andsubmitgrades withinrequiredtimelines.
  • Participate in curriculum development, updates, and instructional planning.

General Responsibilities (All Instructors)

  • Discussstudents progress and address academic concerns as needed.
  • Submit all required records and documentation, including attendance and grades,in a timely mannerandin accordance withinstitutional policies and established processes. Accurately track and report student attendance and grades through the system asrequired.
  • Attend faculty meetings andparticipatein program and college initiatives.
  • Participate in faculty performance reviews, ifrequired.
  • Arrange make-up sessions for hours missed due to illness or other absences.
  • Comply withall college policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Programmanager, College Dean, or President.

Education and Experience Required:

  • A certificate, diploma, or degree in an Education/ Education Assistant or a field directly relatedto the subject area being taught.
  • A minimum of two years of related work experience in the subject area.
  • In the absence of formal education, a minimum of ten years of relevant work experience may be considered.

Location: WCC Surrey Central Campus

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 2 PM

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: September 30, 2026
