Job Overview

We are currently hiring Servers & Porters for upcoming short-term event shifts in Waterloo. This is a great opportunity for experienced hospitality staff looking for flexible, event-based work in a fast-paced environment. This is an outdoor barbecue event taking place on the front lawn of the building. Staff will be responsible for supporting food service, guest assistance, setup, cleanup, and maintaining a clean and organized event area throughout the event.

Available Shifts

• Tuesday, June 09:
  10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (4 Server)
• Tuesday, June 09:
  8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (4 Porters)

Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Responsibilities:
• Provide professional food and beverage service
• Set up and maintain event areas
• Ensure guest satisfaction with prompt and courteous service
• Maintain cleanliness of guest and service areas
• Assist with event setup, supplies, and back-of-house support
• Manage waste and restock supplies as needed
• Follow all health and safety standards

Requirements:
• Previous serving/event experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Dress Code

• All black attire required
