  • Proven ability to perform system commissioning independently at customer sites
  • Experience with HMI/SCADA development (FactoryTalk, WinCC, Ignition, or equivalent)
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and P&IDs
  • Strong troubleshooting capability in live production environments
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel for on-site commissioning

Technical Requirements

Candidates must have practical, working experience in most of the following:

  • Industrial networks: Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP
  • Motion control and VFD integration
  • Instrumentation and process control (level, flow, pressure, temperature)
  • Panel design collaboration and I/O validation
  • Start-up, commissioning, and production support

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, program, and debug PLC and HMI/SCADA systems
  • Execute system commissioning, FATs, and SATs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues under real production conditions
  • Collaborate with electrical designers, project managers, and customers
  • Support multiple projects concurrently with minimal supervision
  • Ensure systems meet performance, safety, and customer requirements

Compensation: $35–$52/hour + overtime (Open to Senior Control Systems Engineers as well)

Benefits: Extended Health & Dental, RRSP Matching
