Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the safe and compliant execution of lab pack projects/jobs and the proper packaging of material/waste and off-spec.'s of commercial products.
- Maintains excellent customer relations.
- Ensure drum count is correct and that drum conditions are shippable in accordance with the policies and procedures.
- Conduct projects/jobs according to site specific Federal, State and local regulations and health and safety plans as well as Company policies and procedures.
- Print required labels and labels drums and assure driver of an expedient pick-up. Load/pack materials/waste properly and segregate for compatibility the waste material on transport vehicle.
- Operates mobile equipment as required (class 3 license).
- Understand customer specific disposal requirements.
- Responsible for the execution of Clean Harbors InSite Waste Management Program.
- Demonstrate proficiency at a wide variety of assignments and can direct personnel in operational procedures to complete assignments.
- Reports work-related accidents and incidents to supervision in a timely manner.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years' experience Hazardous Waste Management.
- Class 3 license required with clean driving record.
- Manual transmission operating experience.
- Comfortable working a10 on and 10 off schedule, 12 hours day.
