Maintenance Electrician

We are hiring a Maintenance Electrician for a full-time, permanent role in a food and beverage manufacturing environment. Job Description Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues on production equipment Work with motors, drives, contactors, sensors, PLCs, control panels and 3 phase systems Perform preventive maintenance to help reduce downtime Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams and blueprints Complete work orders and document repairs accurately Follow electrical safety and lockout/tagout procedures Support equipment reliability and continuous improvement Communicate equipment status and repair timelines with production teams Qualifications Red Seal Journeyman Electrician or Certificate of Qualification required 309A or 442A certification strongly preferred 3 to 5 years of industrial electrical experience Food, beverage, manufacturing or production experience preferred Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills Experience with VFDs, motor controls, relay logic and electrical testing equipment PLC or HMI troubleshooting experience is an asset GMP or CFIA-regulated experience is an asset Accommodations are available upon request for all individuals with disabilities taking part in the recruitment and selection process.
