Required Qualifications
- Valid Ontario G2 Gas Technician License
- Valid driver's license with clean abstract
- Experience servicing residential and commercial HVAC systems
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Computer literacy and ability to complete service documentation
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and service gas-fired equipment and HVAC systems
- Install and service furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, and tankless water heaters
- Install gas lines, meters, regulators, and associated equipment
- Diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs
- Test systems and inspect for proper operation and safety compliance
- Detect and repair gas leaks using approved testing methods
- Complete service reports and documentation
- Advise customers on equipment operation, maintenance, and safety requirements
- Independently complete ductwork transitions and fabrications as required

The role requires a Gas Technician Experience with a G2 License along with a driver's license and a clean driving record.
This position is based in Barrie, ON, and the ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial spaces in Barrie and surrounding areas.
The role requires the ability to service clients in a 24/7 environment with on-call responsibilities.
You will install, maintain, and service gas heating units and components, gas lines, meters, regulators, and related equipment, including furnaces, AC units, tankless water heaters, boilers, ductless mini splits, and heat pumps.
You will test and replace defective equipment, adjust control mechanisms, and check piping connections for gas leaks using gas-detecting devices, and prepare reports on work performed.
The pay rate is up to $40.00 per hour for the ideal candidate.
Candidates should have strong customer service, proven computer literacy, and the ability to complete ductwork transitions and fabrications independently.
