DZ Driver

Mr. Foundation Inc. is looking for a reliable and hardworking DZ Driver to join our growing construction team. This position involves operating tri-axle dump trucks and other commercial vehicles to transport materials, equipment, and debris to and from residential / commercial construction and foundation repair sites throughout the Ottawa region.

The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and willing to assist crews on-site when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate DZ-class vehicles, including tri-axle dump trucks, safely and efficiently
• Transport aggregates, soil, construction materials, and equipment to job sites
• Load and unload materials as required
• Perform daily circle checks and maintain vehicle logs
• Ensure compliance with MTO regulations and company safety policies
• Assist crews with labour tasks when not driving
• Coordinate with Operations and Crew Leads regarding deliveries and schedules
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of trucks and equipment
• Report mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately
• Assist with winter operations and seasonal site support when required

Requirements

• Valid Ontario DZ Driver's License with clean driver's abstract
• Minimum 4 years experience operating DZ vehicles or tri-axle dump trucks
• Construction or foundation repair industry experience considered an asset
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong understanding of construction site safety
• Reliable transportation to and from the shop/job sites
• Ability to work overtime during peak construction season
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic
• Experience towing equipment or operating machinery is considered an asset
