What are the Responsibilities?
  • Drive the full operational performance of the body shop—profitability, productivity, and workflow optimization
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technicians and support staff—building a high-performance, accountable culture
  • Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, repair flow, and resource allocation
  • Monitor and elevate technician efficiency, workmanship quality, and shop output
  • Manage estimates, invoicing, and insurance claims with a focus on accuracy, speed, and customer satisfaction
  • Own financial performance—budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing KPIs to drive continuous improvement
  • Identify and implement process improvements and revenue growth opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and industry regulations
  • Build strong relationships with customers, insurers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
What are the Requirements?
  • Red Seal Certification (Body Shop Technician) required
  • 7+ years of experience in heavy-duty truck or similar body shop environment
  • Proven success in a leadership role, managing teams and driving results
  • Strong technical expertise in repair processes, estimating, and insurance workflows
  • Financial and operational acumen—comfortable managing budgets, KPIs, and performance targets
  • Customer-first mindset with strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • High level of organization, accountability, and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with MS Office and shop/dealership management systems
