TITLE: Office Administrative Assistant
REPORTS TO: Program, Fundraising, and Volunteer Team Lead
SALARY: $18/hr
HOURS: 30 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends
LOCATION: Onsite - 1168 Drouillard Rd, Windsor, On, N8Y 2R1
DURATION: 8-week contract (starting June 6th, 2026)

POSITION SUMMARY:
To assist in regional program and administrative tasks which support programs for individuals with Autism in the West Region, and their families. This position will work towards the goal of Autism Ontario, to create a supportive and inclusive Ontario for Autism, and build meaningful connections in the community through support, education, advocacy, and awareness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Engage with autistic families in a professional manner to promote programs and activities.
• Work closely with the People and Family Experience Supervisor to support the regional therapeutic space for children with autism.
• Share learnings and collaborate with team members during weekly meetings.
• Prepare written communications for families and community stakeholders and project partners.
• Create operational and promotional materials to facilitate project delivery.
• Utilize database and contact management software, project management software, and virtual work platform tools.
• Other duties as assigned

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
•Must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
•Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
•At least 1-year post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent work experience
•Previous experience in nonprofit, fundraising, or communications is strongly preferred
•Knowledge of autism
•Ability to work independently, responsibly, and productively within the time allotted
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Excellent computer skills, including MS Office and databases
•Strong problem-solving capabilities
•Up-to-date police reference check
•A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required, for occasional travel within the community
