Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial strategic planning of the company by evaluating its performance and potential risks.
- Develop budgets that meet the strategic goals of the company.
- Prepare detailed reports on the company's financial performance.
- Supervise the finance team in the day-to-day operations, including tracking key financial metrics.
- Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
- Develop secure procedures to maintain confidential information.
- Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems.
- Work with other team members to understand revenue and cost drivers and define appropriate reports for tracking.
- Coordinate with external financial entities on behalf of the company, including accountants, government auditors, and financial consultants.
- Manage and monitor metrics, KPI tracking, and reports for finance department performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or Economics. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA or CMA) is preferred.
- Proven experience as a financial manager in logistic area with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient user of finance software, with a strong understanding of ERP software and advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
- Mandarin will be an asset
