People Store Staffing is currently hiring for an experienced People Store Staffing is currently hiring for an experienced Converting Line Set-Up Technician for our client in Belleville, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience performing line set-ups, changeovers, and troubleshooting within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Title: Converting Line Set-Up Technician

Location: Belleville, ON

Shifts Available:
Full-Time: Monday to Friday – Day Shift (with possible afternoons when needed)
Overtime as required

Pay: $23.40 to $30 – Based on Experience

Responsibilities:

• Perform complete line set-ups and changeovers on converting equipment
• Adjust and calibrate machinery to ensure optimal production efficiency and quality output
• Troubleshoot mechanical and minor electrical issues to minimize downtime
• Conduct start-up checks and verify production specifications are met
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments during production runs
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks as assigned
• Ensure all safety, GMP, and quality standards are consistently followed
• Accurately complete production and downtime documentation
• Work collaboratively with operators, maintenance, and production supervisors
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience performing machine set-ups in a manufacturing or converting environment
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret production specifications and technical documentation
• Experience working with high-speed production lines preferred
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Must be eligible to work 40 hours per week
