Senior Project Manager – Store Fixtures (Custom Manufacturing & Installation)
Reports To: Director of Client Engagement
Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Purpose of the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of custom store fixture projects—from initial concept through manufacturing, delivery, and installation.

This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will coordinate across clients, engineering, production, logistics, and installation teams while maintaining strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders across North America.

In addition to project execution, this role includes client relationship development and identifying new business opportunities to support continued company growth.

Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Project Management
  • Review client drawings, specifications, and requests for quotation
  • Collaborate with engineering and clients to confirm technical requirements, site conditions, and installation constraints
  • Prepare detailed take-offs, cost estimates, and quotations with support from engineering
  • Coordinate and review shop drawings for client approval; manage revisions as required
  • Initiate and manage work orders, production schedules, and shipping timelines based on approved drawings and purchase orders
  • Monitor project progress through manufacturing, logistics, and installation to ensure alignment with specifications and deadlines
  • Liaise with plant, engineering, logistics, and installation teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Source and coordinate third-party installers where required
Client & Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
  • Maintain strong relationships with client representatives, contractors, and site teams across Canada and the U.S.
  • Coordinate shipping and installation schedules with client construction teams and site requirements
  • Conduct site visits and participate in client meetings (as required)
  • Review site reports, deficiency lists, and inspection documentation to ensure timely resolution of issues
Financial & Project Controls
  • Track project budgets, costs, and timelines to ensure profitability and financial accuracy
  • Issue invoices and support accounts receivable follow-up
  • Ensure project documentation is accurate, up to date, and properly recorded in internal systems (ERP/CRM platforms)
Business Development & Growth
  • Identify and pursue new client opportunities through industry relationships and referrals
  • Support the development of proposals, RFP responses, and client presentations
  • Participate in client meetings to introduce capabilities and expand existing accounts
  • Collaborate with internal teams to position and win new business opportunities
Systems & Administration
  • Maintain accurate project data within ERP and CRM systems
  • Ensure all scope changes are documented and approved in writing
  • Communicate project updates clearly and consistently to all stakeholders

RequirementsQualifications
Required
  • 5+ years of project management experience in manufacturing, construction, fixtures, millwork, or a related industry
  • Strong ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and client-facing skills
Preferred
  • Experience in millwork, wood products, retail fixtures, or custom fabrication
  • Familiarity with production environments, installation logistics, and supply chain coordination
  • Experience working with technical drawings and specifications
