Construction Laborer Civil Construction
Location: Windsor, Ontario
Job Type: Full-Time, In-Person
Wage:$20.00 per hour, based on experience
Responsibilities
- Assist equipment operators with excavation, trenching, grading, backfilling, restoration, and site cleanup.
- Support the installation of sewers, stormwater systems, site services, parking lots, driveways, and related civil infrastructure.
- Work safely around heavy equipment, excavation sites, and active construction zones.
- Perform general labor and construction duties as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with supervisors and crew members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Previous experience in civil construction labor work is required.
- Experience using a variety of hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction.
- Valid Ontario driver's license (G License preferred).
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to quality workmanship.
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend work may be required

The role is based in Windsor, ON, with a pay of $20.00 per hour.
Responsibilities include site preparation, loading and unloading materials, erecting scaffolding, mixing and spreading concrete, operating heavy equipment, and assisting skilled tradespeople.
The position is full-time, with some overtime and weekend work, and may require on-call or short-notice work.
Candidates must follow safety procedures, wear PPE, identify hazards, and ensure compliance with building codes; a high school diploma or equivalent is required, with on-the-job training often provided.
Experience in construction or a related field is an asset, and experience operating heavy equipment is also an asset.
You must be able to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks, and you may need to work in inclement weather.
