The Concrete Pump Operator plays a critical role in supporting various construction projects including residential, commercial, infrastructure, and industrial developments. Operating primarily as a solo operator or within a small team of 2-3 people, this position requires proficiency in using boom pump equipment and ensuring safe, efficient concrete pumping operations. Frequent travel and adherence to day shift schedules are common aspects of this role.

Responsibilities

Operate concrete pumping equipment, primarily boom pumps, with precision and safety
Set up pumps on-site according to project specifications and safety regulations
Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability
Comply with all safety standards and site safety protocols
Prepare construction sites for pumping activities
Inspect equipment for issues and conduct troubleshooting as needed

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of experience in concrete pumping operations
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - Class 3
Expertise in concrete pump operation and equipment maintenance
Strong knowledge of safety procedures in construction and pumping
Physical stamina to handle demanding job requirements
Effective problem-solving and communication skills
High attention to detail in all aspects of the work

Superior Concrete Pumping (2001) Ltd. has a few size concrete pumps ranging between 32-41m (Z Boom and Roll and Fold styles). We are looking for a skilled concrete pump operator to join our team! We offer competitive wages!

Some weekends of work as needed. Very few camp jobs. Mainly one day jobs in the Cold Lake, Bonnyville, Pierceland, Lac La Biche, Elk Point, (and more) areas!
