Estimator/CAD Drafter

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a CAD Drafter. This position is located in the city of Guelph. This role may require commuting between two plants. You will be working on days. The rate of pay is $26-$28/hr, based on experience, with the possibility of advancement.

• Work in collaboration and independently to create manufacturing drawings of components and assemblies.
• Develop weld fixtures and processes.
• Use CAD and other engineering design software to create drawings.
• Assist in the generation of bill of material.

• Detail-oriented.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of metal fabrication, welding, and assembly processes is an asset.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Creative, self-motivated, reliable, and able to follow direction.
• Ability to work as part of a team or individually.
• Proficient in SolidWorks.
• Able to efficiently use Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central would be considered an asset.
