AbouttheRole

WearelookingforaBusinessDevelopmentManagertodrivenewcustomeracquisitionandbuildourpresencewithintheCPGmarket.

This is a high-impact, new business role focused on identifying, engaging, and winning new CPG brands. You will be responsible for building your own pipeline, closing new accounts, and helping expand our footprint in a rapidly growing market.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Identify,target,andacquirenewCPGcustomersacrossNorthAmerica,prioritizingopportunitiesinOntario and the GTA.
  • Conductcoldoutreachviaphone,email,LinkedIn,andotherchannelstogeneratenewsalesopportunities.
  • BuildandmanageapipelineofqualifiedCPGprospects.
  • Scheduleandattendin-personmeetingsandfacilityvisitswithprospectsacrossOntarioandtheGTA.
  • Presentourpackagingcapabilitiesanddevelopcustompackagingsolutionsbasedoncustomerneeds.
  • Prepareproposalsandnegotiatepricing,contracts,andcommercialtermstoclosenewbusiness.
  • Workcloselywithinternalteams(estimating,production,andcustomerservice)toensureaccurate quoting and smooth onboarding of new clients.
  • Maintainaccuraterecordsofactivities,opportunities,andpipelineinCRMsystems.
  • Representusatindustrytradeshows,events,andnetworkingevents;andconductpre-showprospectoutreachandpost-showfollow-upstoconvertleadsandopportunitiesintonewbusiness.
  • Achieveorexceedmonthlyandannualnewrevenuetargets.

Qualifications&Experience

  • 3+yearsofbusinessdevelopmentornewbusinesssalesexperienceinaB2Benvironment.
  • Strongpreferenceforcandidateswith:
  • ExperiencesellingtoCPGbrands,or
  • DirectexperienceworkingwithintheCPGindustry.
  • Demonstratedabilitytoprospect,negotiate,andclosenewbusiness.
  • Experiencesellingmanufacturing,packaging,printing,orsupplychainservicesisanasset.
  • Excellentcommunication,negotiation,andrelationship-buildingskills.
  • Highlyself-motivatedwithastronghuntermentalityandabilitytoworkindependently.

Requirements

  • BasedintheToronto/GreaterTorontoArea.
  • ValidOntarioGClassdriverslicense.
  • Accesstoareliablevehicleforlocalclientvisitsandprospectmeetings.
  • AbilitytotravellocallywithinOntarioandtheGTA,withoccasionaltravelacrossNorthAmericaasneeded.
