Logistics Coordinator - Mexico

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to cover a maternity leave, with hands-on experience in truck transportation and land freight operations to support logistics activities within the Mexican market. The ideal candidate will coordinate transportation schedules, manage carrier communications, and ensure efficient delivery operations across North American routes.

Key Responsibilities:

· Coordinate daily trucking and transportation operations for shipments into Mexico.

· Schedule pickups and deliveries while ensuring timely shipments.

· Communicate with drivers, carriers, warehouses, and customers regarding shipment status and delivery updates.

· Monitor truck movements and resolve transportation delays or operational issues.

· Prepare and maintain transportation documentation, shipment records, and logistics reports.

· Ensure compliance with Mexican transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

· Support route planning and transportation cost optimization.

Requirements:

· Diploma or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, International Business, or a related field.

· Minimum 2 years of experience in trucking, transportation, or logistics coordination.

· Fluency in written and verbal Spanish is required.

· Strong knowledge of transportation operations within the Mexican market.

· Excellent communication and organizational skills.

· Proficiency in MS Office and logistics management systems.

· Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.

Working Conditions:

· Full-time position for 1 year contract, based at the office.

· Standard office hours, Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
