Equipment Operator (Roller)

Integrated Staffing is currently seeking experienced Equipment Operators (Roller) for our client based out of Berry Mills, NB. This is a hands on role supporting paving operations, ideal for candidates with previous heavy equipment experience in the paving industry who are safety focused and thrive in fast paced outdoor work environments.
Key Responsibilities

• Operate rollers and other heavy equipment to support paving operations
• Ensure proper compaction, grading, and finishing of asphalt and aggregate surfaces
• Monitor surface consistency, compaction quality, and mat temperature throughout the paving process
• Safely operate equipment around other machinery, labourers, and live traffic areas
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform preventative maintenance as required
• Identify and report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly
• Maintain safe and efficient work practices at all times
• Assist crews with additional site duties as required
• Follow all company safety policies and site regulations

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience operating heavy equipment in the paving industry
• Strong understanding of asphalt compaction and grading processes
• Ability to read grades and monitor compaction quality accurately
• Experience working safely in active construction and traffic environments
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic preventative maintenance
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment

Requirements

• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Class 3A license considered an asset
• Reliable transportation to and from the work site
• Ability to work long hours in varying weather conditions
• CSA-approved steel-toed boots
• CSA-approved hard hat
• High-visibility vest
• Eye and ear protection

What We Offer

• Pay: $25.00hour + 4% vacation pay (depending on experience)
• Work conducted at various sites in and around Moncton, NB
• Early morning start times between 5:30 AM – 7:00 AM
• 10–12 hour shifts with overtime and weekend work expected
• Weekly pay through Integrated Staffing
