What We Offer
- Base salary of $65,000 plus commission structure for direct and indirect revenue.
- Opportunity to join the business at a key growth stage and help shape future sales activity
- Exposure to a large existing lead base with strong opportunity for development
- Community-facing role with the ability to build relationships locally and represent the organization at events and networking functions
- Build and manage a sales pipeline from prospecting through to signed contract
- Follow up on qualified leads and develop new business opportunities within the local and regional market
- Meet with prospective clients in person, including in showrooms, at open houses, on-site, and in the community
- Support clients through the buying process with a strong consultative and service-oriented approach
- Maintain accurate activity, follow-up, and pipeline records in HubSpot or a comparable CRM
- Use digital tools, social media, and creative outreach methods to promote the business and generate interest
- Participate in community organizations, networking groups, and local events such as monthly meetings and business associations to help expand market presence
- Collaborate with internal leadership on lead strategy, opportunity tracking, and sales growth planning
- Previous sales experience in construction, housing, building products, real estate, or a related field
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills, with the ability to connect effectively in the local community
- A proactive, self-starting approach with a genuine desire to win new business
- Comfortable working both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced sales environment
- Tech-savvy and confident using CRM systems, digital media, and online business development tools
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage both short sales cycles and longer-term opportunities requiring ongoing follow-up
- Valid driver's licence and ability to travel locally as needed
- Comfortable representing the business professionally at events, meetings, and community functions
