Company Description

EagleCraft is a growing custom aluminum boat builder with a strong reputation for craftsmanship, innovation, and delivering high-quality boats.

With a tight-knit team and a strong pipeline of work ahead, we are looking for a Production Manager to help lead our operations through the next stage of growth and modernization.

The Production Manager is a key member of EagleCraft's Senior Leadership Team and plays a critical role in driving execution, developing leaders, improving systems, and ensuring successful boat delivery from start to finish.

This role is ideal for a hands-on operational leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, values accountability, and enjoys building strong teams and systems.

Job Description

Production & Project Leadership

  • Lead custom boat projects from contract award through final delivery.
  • Own production schedules, priorities, and day-to-day execution across the shop floor.
  • Coordinate production flow, scheduling, and milestone tracking to ensure projects stay on target.
  • Follow up with project teams to ensure timelines, quality standards, and delivery commitments are met.
  • Manage changing priorities while maintaining alignment between Manufacturing, Design, Purchasing, and Leadership teams.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Mentor, coach, and develop Project Leads and production leaders.
  • Build leadership capability within the shop and create clear accountability across teams.
  • Foster a strong culture of teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead with a visible, supportive, and solutions-oriented approach on the shop floor.

Operational Excellence

  • Drive safety, quality, efficiency, and cost control initiatives.
  • Strengthen production systems, scheduling tools, and operational processes to support growth and scalability.
  • Support modernization and technology initiatives that improve visibility, communication, and performance tracking.
  • Ensure production data, schedules, and reporting systems are accurate and actionable.

Strategic Contribution

  • Contribute to business planning and operational strategy as part of the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Help shape the future growth and operational maturity of EagleCraft over the next 3–5 years.
  • Support a culture focused on accountability, leadership development, and operational excellence.
Qualifications
  • Experience in production, operations, or project management within manufacturing, marine, or custom fabrication environments.
  • Strong understanding of production workflows, scheduling, and project execution in a custom-build environment.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and develop front-line leaders.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to align teams and drive accountability.
  • Experience implementing or improving systems, processes, and operational structure.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and enthusiasm for leveraging technology and AI tools to improve operations.
  • Ability to captain EagleCraft vessels for sea trials, testing, or delivery is considered a strong asset.
