Part-Time Cook - Residential Group Home

Location: Caledon

Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

Schedule: Part-time, 16-24 hours per week

Availability Required: Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Part-Time Cook to join our residential group home team in Caledon. This role is responsible for preparing nutritious meals for approximately 50 residents in a commercial kitchen environment while ensuring all food safety and sanitation standards are maintained.

The successful candidate will prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and beverages according to scheduled meal plans and dietary requirements. Responsibilities include:

• Food preparation
• Cooking
• Portioning meals
• Inventory support
• Kitchen cleaning
• Maintaining a safe and organized work environment

The Cook will also work closely with staff to ensure residents receive quality meals in a respectful and supportive care environment. Candidates must be comfortable working independently, managing meal service for a large group, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food handling practices at all times.
