As a member of The Power Team at GDLS-C, the Integrated Master Scheduling Specialist will own the schedule that brings together teams, suppliers, and critical milestones - ensuring complex programs move forward with clarity and precision. This role provides the exciting opportunity to be at the centre of our Logistics Vehicle Modernization (LVM) Program delivery, working alongside a diverse, cross-functional team of seasoned Program, Engineering, and Subcontracts professionals who are passionate about excellence and continuous improvement.Key Job Elements:
  • Development and management of a comprehensive program master schedule including project tasks, durations, dependencies, and assigned resources inclusive of all Customer, Partner and Internal work scope, in order to complete the project within a designated time frame
  • Support master schedule demand requirements across all sites for the Program
  • Coordinate schedules of Suppliers, Partners and Internal departments to ensure alignment
  • Responsible for monitoring and reporting on the schedule to ensure the project is delivered on time
  • Responsible for comprehending and identifying schedule risks or potential schedule slips and recommending improvements, mitigations, efficiencies, resolutions, etc
  • Utilize Microsoft Project tool to generate and maintain schedules for all key Program taskings
  • Generate daily/ monthly reports as required
  • Develop and maintain regular schedule and production performance reports
  • Manage schedule changes using change management best practices and processes
Required Qualifications:
• University or College Degree• 3-5 years of materials planning and management experience; scheduling and/or project management experience
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills
  • Experience with change management
  • Advanced skill level in MS Office Applications
  • Strong presentation, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel (5% Canadian/International) and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP or CMA designation, or working towards
  • Experience preparing and delivering presentations and reports to Senior Leadership
  • Automotive scheduling/planning experience
  • Understanding of internal financial reporting and measurements
  • Previous supervisory experience or experience leading teams
  • Ability to travel and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport
