Knowledge of the methods used in processing handling, and storing of material and equipment. Operate forklift to move skids of material within plant, staging material and delivering material to the production line Safely change propane cylinders by lifting/lowering propane tank on/off forklift. Complete daily forklift inspection logs; report any defects to maintenance or supervisor Ability to use manual or mechanizes equipment to move, stack, bin, and position materials and equipment within the facility Identify material by gauge, product name and / or number. Knowledge of applicable parts and products used in all departments. Perform clerical or technical support work concerned movement of materials (i.e. log receipt, storage and shipment documents/ manifest/ inventory counts and reporting) KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Must have valid forklift license, or proof of previous certification. Ability to use measuring devices, i.e. micrometer, calipers and filler gauge. Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English. Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
