Position Overview:Lambert Nemec Group is partnering with a well-established organization in Winnipeg to recruit an experienced Executive Assisant to support senior leadership.The successful candidate will act as a key point of coordination across leadership, stakeholders, and external partners, playing an important role in delivering high-impact events, supporting fundraising efforts, and ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly. This position requires a high level of discretion, initiative, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and support board meetings, including preparing agendas, compiling meeting materials, and accurately recording and distributing meeting minutes in a timely manner.
  • Oversee and coordinate the Executive's schedule, ensuring priorities are aligned and time is used effectively
  • Lead the coordination and execution of sponsorships, fundraising initiatives, and events, including end-to-end planning and delivery
  • Manage vendor relationships, sponsorship outreach, and event logistics
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, board members, and external partners
  • Monitor incoming communications, respond where appropriate, and escalate urgent matters as needed
  • Prepare documents, presentations, and correspondence with a high level of accuracy and professionalism
  • Track key action items and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding tasks and initiatives
  • Assist with financial administration, including expense tracking and reporting
  • Provide support for stakeholder communications, including student programs and bursaries
Requirements:
  • 3–5+ years of experience in an Executive Assistant role
  • Experience with event planning, sponsorships, or fundraising is strongly preferred
  • Experience in a not-for-profit or association environment is considered an asset
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while remaining highly collaborative
